CARTER INDUSTRIES CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT

In order to better serve our customers’ needs, we are very pleased to announce that Carter Industries will be re-organized into two separate business entities. Light duty vehicle sales and services will be performed under the management of Commercial Van Interiors, recognized as one of the nation’s leading light duty vehicle upfitters with branch locations coast to coast. Truck body sales and services will be performed by California Work Trucks, Inc., operated by the current management team at Carter Industries.

Both of these entities will operate out of the current Carter Industries location in Union City, California.

We truly believe this re-organization will be of great benefit to each of you, our partners. We believe these changes will not only allow us to work more closely with each of you, but also to better focus on meeting the specific and unique product needs of these two different industry arenas. We are anticipating this transition to be complete on April 1, 2011.

We want you to know how very important you are to us and every effort is being made to ensure this transition is as smooth as possible for all of our customers. All open orders will be processed and completed on time with the same quality and service you have come to expect from Carter Industries. All warranty work and service after sales will be honored and provided by Commercial Van Interiors and California Work Trucks, Inc., respectively.
